The Pros and Cons of Growing Up

Yesterday at work I overheard a conversation a man was having with his aged mother. It was by no means funny, but I couldn't help but giggle as I tried to look busy on the computer. Everyone has the same problems. No matter where you go or who you meet it all comes down to the same issues. And that's what made that situation so funny, it's that just when you feel like "who in the world would understand what I'm going through?" You realize just about half the population would and does. The things that get us down, or make me not want to leave my huge comfy chair, are the things that people isolate themselves over. I'm still praying for patience...in the mean time I take a the little smiles I can.

  1. You are right. To truly feel "alone" and to actually be the only one in a situation (on EARTH) are two different things. Thank goodness for our dear brotherhood, even if you are the ONLY ONE going through something terrible, there is huge group of loving brothers and sisters behind you! xoxo
